triangle forms

drawing the hand made me realize that i didn't do nearly enough drawing in the previose project and my work become sort of stunted because of it. So I've decided to try and create my own triangle scetches like the sound reactive ones i produced in project 2. i followed a similar structure pattern that was produced by moving the mouse in my coded pieces. starting from the triangle i was then free to explore the structure. this one was made by making a spiral with a triangle. it is interesting to see how the two forms clash and to me the was a lot of tension in the structure i guess from the spiral form it creats and how the triangles are layered it does resemble a spring. by adding the lines i wanted to accentuate that tension and store of enjoy within the structure.
how it is placed on the page is also very important having it at an equate angle helped create that sense of tension like its about give way with the force. the large empty space helps create a void that i quite like the simple pencil on paper or black and white i think is quite beautiful in its nature. also really helps to bring attention to the form. i did explore the idea of having multiple structures floating but single had more power behind it.
something I've discovered is the because of the nature of the pencil the layering of the lines creates a rich black were the structure increases density something that is missing when i produce structures like this on the computer. it is important to give the structure depth so to replicate this if i choose to move on to the computer is a must.
